Sparkys average fee to wire UFH cold tails and stat .

I pay £60, but I have used him for years.

It would depend how far he would have to go to link into a power supply.
If its just outside the room - inc a fused spur and 35mm back box and cable about £60-00 - and I only use the 1 electrician.

I run all the cables and chase them in, set the box etc. He still charges me £80 even though he is there to do the lighting, fan etc

A few years ago I used to pay £50 though he literally did the final connection and quickly scanned over our workings. We used to put the 35mm backbox in with a switched fused spur right next to the stat in a double box. We'd do all the connections except from the fused spur to the ringmain or Db board when that was required.

Again, used him all the time.

Thanks guys . Just spoke to the the guy who's doing mine tomorrow and after I said that i could send any UFH jobs his way he quoted me around 50 notes - sounds fair to me . lets see what his works like .

Make sure you get a receipt and certificate - sign the warranty information and get him to fill in the final readings for resistance.
