Was on my way back from NETT earlier today, and came across a lady who had broken down in the middle lane just before you get onto the A19.Nothing wrong with that, but everyone else just drove past the poor lady,i came back around the roundabout going in the opposite direction, pulled over, nearly got run over crossing the road, jumped the central reservation nearly breaking my neck, felt the wind off a car 5mm from my toes had to jump out the way,the poor lady was hysterical cos noone would help her, just wonder whats wrong with people today, did'nt even bat an eyelid, but she was grateful nevertheless,if that had of been my missus,i would be livid...:furious3:

You did a good thing. It's a shame people are so basically selfish now. Scared / too busy / not bovered to get involved.

Reminds me of that story in the news a while back - a woman raped on the tube during rush hour while people just looked away.

I'd like to think if it was my wife and kids stranded that someone would help.

Nice one:thumbsup:

Top Man

If it was me i supose i would of just drove past if i was honest

Some of us NOT all are so self centred forget about things like humanity and other people

Going back a few years now remember when i was working on a bar and a nice lass from rotherham lost her purse with money and Phone in it

So i offered to give her £20 for a taxi after i realised she was really in the dumps 1am in the morning nice looking and alot of weirdo's about

She took it and the weekend after her boyfriend returned it to me

I was a bit gutted but never mind

That was only decent deed i have ever done really For an unknown person

I would have done the same Den,good lad!

This is a difficult one really! You either care or you don't!! About 8 years ago coming back from Devon I stopped in the same situation and there were two guys hidden behind a bush ready to jump the first idiot that stopped. Luckily there were four of us in the car coming back from a shooting weekend so they thought twice. I think I would still stop again though! there again it's people like me who end up in Hospital:yes:
