If your just a tiler. Your words is it not Wise to pass this part of the job on to someone else . I still think celotex and pump screed is best fix . Weight will not be an issue on solid floor .

Is not new building,was changed in open spaces offices and the architect is worried about weight.

Anyway is not too much difference between screed and marmox+Knauf+adhesive,screws etc,but is not my call...

Thanks for that local. Seems I've been doing it right all these yearsThe only time you do not need to mechanically fix a marmox type board is when you are sticking it to a solid floor. I,e not wood
