Am I understanding this correctly

Paint on systems are gum based
Self adhesive membranes are bitumen based

So I should stay away from self adhesive membranes full stop?

Am I getting this?!

No the impey Waterguard isn't bitumen and is a very good reliable system

It comes with a lifetime guaranee as do most tanking systems regardless of the type.

Personally I'm on the fence between the two. But I fit alot of Impey formers, so use alot of the Impey waterguard.
