Theres nothing worse than when a plan doesnt come together!

Well, now the tiling course is over - I would like nothing more than to get on with some jobs!

Bought an astra van as a non runner back in december - stripped it down, rebuilt it over xmas, thought I had fixed it, but to avail it would not start!

After scratching heads and using vauxhall software - it seems the fuel pump and ecu are not communicating, so i pay for it to be taken to a vauxhall specialist to let them get on with it!

Today, i get a phone call to come and pick the van up, they say they cannot waste any more time on it and keep going round in circles with it. They say its a man made problem that is wrong with it. And whoever fitted the fuel pump(not me) may have made ( REMOVED) a of it!.

So I have to come and take it away, they arent going to charge me for what they have done.

But now i have to sell the van for spares or repair ( no huge job, but a pain).

Then buy another!!:mad2:

this was not in the plan!!! :lol:

Ouch! But you should think yourself lucky that they didnt charge you. If there is one thing to say about sending your car/van to mr vauxhall is that they charge whenever they can!

It was an independant vauxhall specialist in east kilbride near me, Just hopefully get it sold and get a wee berlingo or partner for a few hundred notes!

think at that price you will just be buying some one elses problems over again. once bitten and all that. find a little more lolly and buy something with at least 12 months ticket on it.
