i tried setting up a trade extra account with TCH so i could pay goods monthly anyway i sent the form off and someone rung up other day to confirm date of birth etc and they said your application would be proccessed within 21 days got a letter today my application rejected caus i dont meet there requirement WTF anyway stormed straight in to tch and asked them why they didnt know but they said Tile clearing house and Topps tiles are in a bit of bother i dont know the full story

i can only guess why i was rejected either it was my age or i have not been trading long enough ive only been trading as lm ceramics since jan this year. i doubt it will be my credit rating caus im only 20 and never in debt.

anyone else experience any problems!

I had a similar letter today Lee for my card from Topps. No explination just that I didn't meet their requirements either. I trade as a Ltd Co. so don't know if that made any difference.

i doubt you being a limited company would effect it russ i dont know wat the hell is going on i do know there are only 4 traders in our local shop who was eligable for it i can only persume that they have been trading for a number of years

You are in good company.

I too have been rejected by TCH, but accepted by Topps.....:huh2:

Yeah, work that one out!

TCH tell me that I can get trade prices from the anyway.

If you've got a good cashback CC just use that. Take a business card in and ask them to give you trade prices.
I already have an "account" with Topps and get trade discounts as normal. This new card thing was an addition that meant I didn't have to pay up front for stuff. Also came with a fuel card as well which gave discounts at Shell Esso and Texaco.

Maybe Topps are happy for me to take my business elsewhere:whatchutalkingabout. Their loss!

that is a strange one seen as topps own tile clearing house as russ said its in there own interest really i buy alot of materials from tch even though i get jobs from them im know meant to lose my gold discount whether that will happen i dont know if i cant get a monthly account then i suppose ill take my business elsewhere there loss

I'm laughing..........at us Brits........lol

Our wonderful government let all these foriegn workers into the country, now all of them are going home, after having bled this country dry of trade work, now we have a ressession and us Brits can't get credit...........I'm on the deck, yet again this country drops a clanger on it's own................
