just bought some superwhite tile`s from tile magic.
i was under the impresssion they are all the same tile which ever part or travis perkins they are bought from.

in tile giant the boxes were marked up a niro granite , but the tile magic ones i received were marked "polished porcelaine" with no instructions on them at all.

can anyone clarify if these tiles are the same ? have you used these tiles before what was the boxed marked as ?

They are from different manufacturers. So there can be differences. Even when it comes from the same manaufacturer different bathces can be very obvious.

You dont realy need fitting instructions as fitting is generaly the same for most polished porcelain, if you have any questions regarding sealing etc then the tile store/ supplier will be able to tell you.

To the best of my knowledge those tiles will have been pre polished/ sealed using nano technology.

This is one of Tile Giants usp for this particular product.

well as i was told these were niro granite tiles , if they are some shoddy cheap tiles i could of bought them from here for 50% less

niro granite are a good brand of porc the others sound like cheap ones check the tiles carefully before fixing batch size and bow and a new one this week look at the backs for lighter shadings as i found out if there diff on the back they are diff on the front all from same batch

I think the tiles will be good enough in terms of quality.

As Jay said though, it's always wise to check any tiles for shades etc.

They are indeed Niro Granite tiles. When Pilkingtons tiles were selling them, they were sent out to other retailers in blank white boxes. When Pilks went into administration, they started to come in Niro Granite boxes. The stock you have is the exact same tile, just in the old plain white boxes.
