tile n00b reporting for duty

Hey everyone, I just joined but I have been lurking for a few weeks now, picking up tips and such, so thanks to everyone so far.:shades_smile:

I am currently doing up my bathroom and this has been a lifesaver. I did a bit of tiling with a mate a few years ago but I am so out of practice I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but so far so good.

I've been taking photo's as I go, so I might post a collage for you to tell me where I went wrong:wink_smile:

Right, so here is where I am slowly going.....

I made a quick sketch to show the layout of the bathroom, which used to be a w/c and a seperate shower room, but one of the doors has been removed and filled in and an archway knocked through between them.

Also the window where the shower is now has been boxed in and glass blocks been put in so it is now safe and watertight (I hope).

So here it was as I went...(mosaics - first time using:icon9: )

Grouted that lot off, but I'm going to wait until everything else is done before I seal it all.

Now I'm putting up the 25x33 ceramics, but leaving the floor as it has to be levelled and surfaced yet!

And here is what I have to do next....

I am only going a few high as there is going to be a mosaic border, so I am going to batten off at the top of that and fill it in afterwards, unless anyone has any other suggestions????

Lookin good mate. Remember to scrape off any adhesive you haven't stuck a tile too while it's wet.
