a 6mm trowel will give you a 6mm bed wont it mate?

Once the tile has been pushed in the bed goes from a 6mm to probably 3mm. So im asking a question that people might assume its a 6mm trowel when It could be the other way around.

oh I know what u mean... my guess would be that its a 6mm trowel which gives a 6mm bed I doubt it would mean a 9mm trowel or a 12mm one.

A 6mm trowel will give a 3mm adhesive bed (roughly), when the ribs are compressed and a 10/12mm trowel will give a 6mm adhesive bed (again, roughly)

So im assuming with the weight list the 6mm bed is using a 10/12 trowel (roughly). Cheers bri.

You got it mate, those bed depths will be based on 6mm and 12mm trowels.
