Hi,
I'm about to tile a shower enclosure which is freshly plastered plasterboard. I've got 30cm x 30cm porcelain tiles and a couple of tubs of Granfix Multifix adhesive. Is this ok to use for a shower and these tiles or should I use something else? Also, should I prime/seal the surface before putting on the adhesive or is it ok to stick them straight on?
Thanks all
Angus

Will you please take a look at the several threads in the Wetrooms & Tanking chapter, shower enclosures like yours are described there - and the tanking. Martin

I would prime surface before with primer for absorbing surfaces and put on tanking (paint it on with corner tape or use self adhesive sheets) and I wouldn't use tubes just powder. This is only what I would do I hope I helped 🙂

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the pointers. I'm clear what I'm doing now...off to order some tanking!
Cheers
Angus
