That depends on the choice of tile quackfly, Porcelain and natural stone would need a flexible adhesive.
I would always use flexible for peace of mind.

Thanks for the help guys , well hopefully when i pull up the old tiles they will be less than 10mm deep holes so i will be able to use levelling compound , if they are deeper than 10mm i'll have to screed the floor i hope thats right ,

There are quite a few levellers that will go way above 10mm.

Hi Kev, TA Ltd. I think they are from Chorley Lancs. as I say I always use Mapei, but costomers supplied these jobs.

Think they copied it from a weber.niv dur which is very similar, the tilemaster is a lot cheaper though.
