Ive used no more ply loads, never a issue, in fact im sat on the loo looking at my ensuite floor i tiled over chipboard then no more ply a about 7 years ago, yup, still looks fine

all ive ever seen is bad posts about the stuff. so it is ok then? well 7 years on it must be lol. same fixing method as say cement board?

I have seen a couple of posts over the last few months and many people were nocking it. so I came to the conclusion to never use it to cover my back. obviously I was wrong lol... I remember specifically a post from I think bri saying it has a thin laminate layer so isn't trust-able

I have been using it the best part of 10 years without any issue !

I think I said I didn't like it because it was shiney, just a personal preference thing really. I just prefer hardie.

I have choice of both, used to use NMP but changed to Hardie. I found that NMP was more brittle and could snap when screws are close to edge, also screws didn't always countersink in and stood proud, whereas Hardie the screws go in reasonably easy.

I have a info leaflet on it, it says its ideal fo wet rooms as its fully waterproof as long as you Silicon each joint(with there glue as thats 100% waterproof)

sorry that was inexperience talking lol yeh ok well I may have to work with this stuff and get my own feel for it soon cheers
