For the LVT option I take it just a base of plywood is ok with the ply screwed to the wooden floorboards and flex glued to concrete
He knows what he's talking about @Dave does mate. Ignore me. I tiled for a bit years ago but I never would attempted your floor.

Are you sure you want to take this on?

A pro tiler would save you money I think. And it would come guaranteed then.
