Fixed price for me ,never do anything on daywork

I quoted for a restaurant kitchen job, fixed price , was told it was too dear and that they'd use another bloke on day work as he charged a low daily rate.
I estimated approx 3-4 days..... He was there 10. Flask, newspaper, fold out chair!

Day rate for bathroom rebuilds. Usually works out cheaper than what my fixed price would be cos you have to factor in all worst case scenarios that could get you burnt.
