tiling reference books

hello all, does anyone know if there is any decent tiling reference books by english or irish professional tilers, the market seems to be flooded with american tilers writing their tiling experiences, not complaining i really enjoyed reading john bridge tile your way. it seems that even the big names in bookshops have a bad selection in tiling books. Where should i be looking?

everything dave , when you have an interest , just enjoy having as much knowledge as i can . all aspects on tiling, can u help with any suggestions on good books.

good point doug,, nice to read a good book also. enjoyed the post on being addicted to the forums,, whats the chance of all us saddo,s meeting up for a good shindig!

As far as i know.. there are no books by uk tilers..

The john bridge one would be good but really it is US terminology and US fixing methods and they differ to the uk..

The reference books for the uk would be the BS5385 standards, this will teach you all the back ground info etc..

thats quite sad dave that theres no english tilers writing books. And your right it does refer to american building regulations being different to england. there are some decent pro tilers on this forum , so how about it, a good book for the novices.

There is books on designs etc just none like john bridge type.. or maybe i haven't seen them..

There is a good read by a tiler called Gary witherington.. do you want a link..
