lol. . it was 6mm XPS Premium board (as recommended by the store i bought my heating mat from). . would this be an issue? (i hope not as it means the whole lot has to come up) :/

This is one tile that has the crack. I'll mark it and see if its get worse over the next few weeks

hello,when fixing the boards did you make your adhesive slightly wetter so it bit right into the board to bond?

i find this better as a normal mix sometimes doesnt get the grab i need i find..just me though

how many bags of pro flex did you use on the 13 metre are for fixing the tiles slik can i ask?

Yeh I did and i even put a board on top and walked over them when i set the boards to help to bond them. (does that make sense)?

it doesnt look at all like grout shrinkage unfortunately, more like movement/expansion of the substrate.i wouldn't do anything in haste, leave it for a bit and see if it gets worse. good luck with it

if its 1 tile and on concrete it may be that you havent bonded the tile sufficiently and it has movement...wait and see if the area spreads and if not you may well be able to fix it easily

I used 2 bags of pro flex (grey) to adhere the boards and I used just over 3 bags profles (white) to adhere the tiles, I also back buttered all tiles

You do appear to have done everything by the book. The only thing I can think is that it's movement from the substrate. Were there any hairline cracks in the concrete? If it is some sort of settlement/ movement, hopefully it won't get any worse and can be easily repaired.

Was this the cement faced board or the plain foam type.....6mm is too thin for me, i would say 10mm unless it was cement tile backer board.

I wouldnt worry too much at the moment. I would cut the grout out to a depth of about 4mm and regrout those areas. See if it happens again.

if its only a few joints then a cheap tool like this will suffice Tradetiler Tilers Removal of Existing Grout

take it steady though and avoid slipping and scratching the tiles.

They were pre-sealed and I sealed the grout a few days after I grouted. I used LTP MPG, 2 coats.

Could be that sealer got on edge of tile and prevented grout from sticking.

I didnt seal before hand, only once the grout was fully dry. Could be the factory sealant on that tile edge. . :/
