On 'homewyze' calculator for labour rates in USA it averages $100-150 per sq metre for fixing ceramic tiles in a bathroom.
That's about what my family over there tell me.
For marble it goes up.

This link gives an indication of labour cost $5-10 square foot. 10.6 square foot = 1 sq. mtr. So between £35-£70 a square metre. Also baring in mind that would be for a one off private job. add on subbing and the money you would make would be considerably lessOn 'homewyze' calculator for labour rates in USA it averages $100-150 per sq metre for fixing ceramic tiles in a bathroom.

interestingly is the cost for an electrician compared to a carpenter. Sparky gets $75 an hour and a chippy only $25
Well saidI'd do it for the 'experience'!
Even at the rate quoted it would be interesting and a change. Some times money is not the most important issue, I've worked in Norway, France and Scotland for rates not too different from home, but swimming in a Fjord, lunch overlooking the Meditteranean and fly fishing in a Loch are all extras that come with the job.
At times this can be a solitary job and also working in a gang/squad can have its highlights.

All countries that are part of the EU (or EU trading partners in Norway's case) and don't come with work/visa restriction implications that the USA does.
I have been and worked in the States and there are plenty of hoops to be jumped through that are just not being addressed here.
But if everything is there ready, 60x60's with a bit of mosaic in the shower floor, get into the rhythm you could be doing 20sq. a day plus, more if you put in the hours. Day after day for 2 months, so £500 a day, that's some decent dosh.So even based on that, £22m2 is still mugging people off.
Combined with a possible visa situation.
Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
