Hi Kev,

Floor base has to be solid before you start using any anti fracture membrane - strengthening the floor is not what it's for. Just make sure you are happy there is no deflection before clashing the Dural down mate

hello phil i have used dural for years with a good two part s1 adhesive and its sound you just have to do good ground work and buy good tiles

Hi mate do you use Dural, Ditra, etc direct on T&G. I use them and am a big fan, but only as a de- coupling membrane over ufh. Never on T&G only 18mm ply or backer- board. Deflection ya de ya

I do know of a tiler that uses ditra on all his t&g floors, he's been tiling 30 years
