Hey guys...

Quick few questions for the boffins!!

Kerraquick to fix Travertine onto nomoreply walls?
Kerraquick with Latex addy to fix Ditra down to nomoreply floor?
Kerraquick with Latex addy ontop of Ditra to fix Travertine floor?
Any PVA/Sealant needed?
What is best size notched trowel for the job... giving me some margin to work the tiles over uneven areas?
Best sized trowel for 100% coverage of Ditra?

Can't comment on the Mapei stuff as I have never used it, but as regards to uneven areas, maybe it is best to straighten them up first? Oh, and not PVA for tiling, acrylic based primers/sealants if you need them.

What size trav, Joe?

Use keraquick white when fixing the trav.
Keraquick is flexible and the latex makes it more flexible, making it suitable for wooden floors. It's probably wise to use the latex additive for the floor. Obviously, you won't need to use white for the Ditra as grey is cheaper.

Personally, unless you are going to be fixing and grouting the walls in the same day, I would use Keraflex for the walls. Keraflex is good with large format tiles and as it is normal setting you can knock up a large bucket and it will last all day, less time spent mixing addy!

As Grumps says, don't use PVA! Just acrylic primers like Mapei Primer G.

Trowel size will depend on tile size to some degree, but if large format I would suggest a 10mm notched trowel, otherwise you may get away with a 6mm notched.
