Still using a drill driver??
Oh no, can't beat an impact driver.
I've never used nmp but on Hardie you will drive a turbo gold right through into the wooden subfloor.
They are great screws to use.

I have a dewalt impact and drill driver, I used to use impact all time but went back to drill driver. The screws were tightening up then spinning free before they pulled into the nmp fully.

Hardi is softer (3x2mm layers) and not one solid 6mm piece like NMP.
My drill used to cope fine when I used to use nmp with turbo gold - a bit holder with a retractable sleeve helps.

Don't really like NMP used to use it but found it too brittle and shiny. HB easier to cut and the screws do countersink themselves into with impact driver.

I use either Turbo Gold, Reisser or Spax depends which supplier I'm in at and dont have a problem with any of them.

I finally got myself an impact driver last year, it makes a hell of a difference.

It's just cant be doing with the racket of them! Ile try it next time, I only use 10.8v dewalts
