Expansion joint fitted between rooms. Note that the off-cut of the tile is carried through into the next room. You will need to allow for this when setting out. :thumbsup:

Is there likely to be too much movement for Ditra, in this situation? Just curious, as 9 times out of 10, customers don't want an expansion gap.
 
I'd go for a Silicon filled joint too. With luck, you might find it works out ok if you set out with a full tile from the join between the dining room and conservatory.
 
I think that the most likely movement would be settlement of the conservatory and so Ditra wouldnt be the solution.
