clutch went on the van yesterday......£350 for a new one..:yikes::yikes: thats more than the vans worth :lol:

nice man at the garage gave me one of his cars for the day, so i didnt loose a days work, first time i used this garage told me any time i get van problems he will sort me out a car to borrow, good customer service and i will defo use him again..

Nice to get that type of service but that clutch was cheap...mine cost £650....OUCH !

crickey what you driving?, mine was £275 but the fork thingy was bent so had to pay a bit extra..

It was a dual mass flywheel clutch. Dont ask me , No idea but its pretty standard price, It had done 90,000 miles though on original.

Mines got a dual mass thingy on the Transit, costs between £600-1000 so I'm told.....

A dual mass flywheel ads damping of some sorts to diesels, and their strong torque.

I had gearbox issues on an Impreza, thought while I'm swapping that I'll get the £1800 exedy twin-plat clutch and lightened flywheel kit. Now because it snaps into place and is either on or off (no proper bite) I'm on my 4th gearbox lol

Not always best to upgrade I've learnt.

My tranny has kicked £1000 out of me in the last few month. DMF. gearbox bearings. still needs shockers sorted lol.
