Vitrex 750 wet cutter?

Is this just the same patented design as the PP Master Tiler?

If so have Vitrex re-jigged it to eradicate the twisted spindle problem or does it do the same after time?

i dont know mate but i was looking at one in topps the other day and they said it would cut anythink slate, granite, limestone ect, they allso said its 10 times better then the p/p..........but this is topps were talking about and they were trying to sell it to me

To me it's the PP Master with a different name on it, but I haven't actually seen onerrr:

Not sure what wattage the Master is mind

Well, thats what I thought - But TT has just recommended this one as a small cutter to me......

Mind you I've been using the Master for small jobs for a while now, but the spindle is ctting off now and I get electric shocks from the cutting bed:yikes:

For a smaller table saw then i would recommend the Rubi ND200.. or the one i have had for about 13 yrs.. The Rubi D200 Diamante..

think the p/p is 650 watt, same as you mate i have a m/t i use for small jobs and i was looking to upgrade as well , but as dave says it dose still look a bit diy.

has anyone got one?

I'm just after something lightweight and easy in and out of the van for kitchen splashies, etc..

If the spindle problem of the PP has been bettered in the Vitrex, then I think this machine would be just fine

I used to use the pp master tiler, but bought the Vitrex from topps. At £99 or there abouts not a bad machine imo. Vitrex reckon pp ripped off their flat bed design, even with the DeWALT 2400, I still use a flat bed. As good as the DeWALT is I like to finish checkout's ( L shapes) on the flat bed

no problems with the spindle on mine, but it is a bit big for carrying in your tool bag lol. i been using it today, still cutting well, struggles on high grade porcelain tho, and for a hundred quid i think its a bargain!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...The Briccolina wet cutter is my first choice for a compact, powerful, quiet, accurate and reliable cutter that can be used indoors with no mess. I use mine on virtually every job that I need a wet cutter for and it never let's me down. .

Sure am Kev, it is stood next to it's big brother the DeWALT on my current job. It still can do certain jobs it's big brother can't good machine for the price imo:8:
