Hi All
I would class my self as competent DIYer.
I am about till the walls on a small bathroom. The walls are plaster with bricks behind it. The plaster is pretty smooth and is in good condition but there are some humps and bumps in it, visible when you place a batten on the wall not to the naked eye.
I have seen several professional tiling jobs in the last few days. One thing have noticed is that the adhesive on the wall seems to be fairly think and the tiles all flat. Is it that they use 10mm or thicker notched trawl to ensure that all the tiles are flat against the wall and to even out any humps and bumps.
I have always assumed that the wall trawls should be 6mm round or square notched ?
Can people in the know please comment. Thanks
PS I will be using BAL powered wall tile adesehive.
