It seems that no matter how much you pay for your tiles you may still have problems with warped tiles or tiles that differ substantially in size.
There is often talk about the sub standard quality of b & q tiles, we would expect that tiles from a higher grade manufacturer would be of a better standard. Sadly this is not always the case.
My customer has purchased 11 sq m of rectified porcelain tiles 600 x 100 at a cost of over £100 a square metre, they originate from this Italian manufacturer....
Innovazione - Gres Porcellanato

Well I am sorry, that is a load of ********, they are just as badly warped, if not more so than a lot of cheaper tiles I have fixed. Poor customer wants them in brick bond, at the very best she will only be able to have them in 1 1/3 bond and then there still may be too much visible lippage : for which the untrained / or less knowledgable eye, may blame me, the fixer.
Tile shop says that the tiles are within tolerance
Photos show bottom tile face up ! And top tile, face down ! Tiles fit closely together in the middle and taper off at each end ! Shocking !
