Hardly a job for job of the month, but those 600 x 100 tiles with the trickle effect mosaic will look really tasty when finished.

Found this on the web, but am no maths genius, the porcelain table gives a guide, but can't get my head around it. I am sure that banana shaped tiles cannot be acceptable :mad2::incazzato:

Hello leatherface. Nice job you did.
Just want to tell you that:
a) the a.m. article refers to ANSI-standards for tiles, that is subject to the Americans.
b) for Europe, what includes UK and Germany as well, you have to refer on the tile standard EN 14411, this standard mentions tile dimensions and allowed tolerances.

But, as we can see from your thread and this is same in Germany, the allowed tile tolerances do not always match with what is allowed at site and what meets the customer´s desire.

In Germany, as a rule of thumb, the tilers (are trying to) obey this since 2006:
tile size 10 x 10 cm, allowed hight tolerance 1,2 mm after laying
tile size 30 x 30 cm, allowed hight tolerance 1,6 mm a.l.
tile size 40 x 40 cm, allowed hight tolerance 1,8 mm a.l.
tile size 60 x 30 cm, allowed hight tolerance 1,9 mm a.l.
tile size 50 x 50 cm, allowed hight tolerance 2,0 mm a.l.
