I use it on floors and walls. Thogh some clients like to see a slightly recessed grout line on the walls compared to a flatter grout line on floors for easy sweeping and minimum dirt entrapment so once ive gone over the walls I then rub in (point up). Finding a goof pointing tool is more of a problem.

i have two Karl Dahm wash boys that i have had for a good 18 years ,i built two wooden holders on castors, one of them is still almost unused ,as i tend to just use the same one over,i would not feel that i was properly prepared to tile a pool without one !!, but i have a Burta machine from ramondi for big pool floors ..... it saves the knees lol......

i recently got some brick and patio acid cleaner to give my Washboy a clean up! Might just post some pictures up as everyone loves pictures here!!!!

karl dahm wash boy is a must for me walls and floors ,i also have a pedalo again brill piece of kit esp on large floors .
trade tiler you will get 2 sponges with the washboy,
the best sponges on the market imo are the raimondi ones from kwik split

I use the Karl Dahm washboy, but I have started using it slightly different these days. I only fill it about 3 inches of water. I don't use the grill. This makes it lighter for carrying up/down stairs. It is also good for storage of sponges, grout floats, rags etc. I use the Raymondi floats, but I find that I can't get them dry enough for washing down. I have to get rid of excess water by throwing them into the customers garden (whilst still holding onto the handle!)
