One thing I don't think I have made very clear is that the video-tile
on the main website looks VERY different to how itappears above.

Sorry about that folks its my fault On the website its not got the black background. On here it has a black backround.

To see it / her in her true surrounding you need to see her on the main website
(not on U-tube!) with the dark background but instead blended in and on a white background. And then she blends in and becomes part of the site.

Perhaps adding her here in this post as a Youtube post doesnt quite create the right atmosphere.

But the question is really about the MESSAGE. Does she convey the fact that we produce value for money diamond drilling kits for tilers plumbers and builders and that we supply an international market place.

OR: Have we put so much information into that pitch that the message gets lost.

I'm wondering if we have given her too much to say. Or is it the case (as in the first responses) that she delivers her message and its understood.

Again: ALL responses are appreciated. In fact there may be no right or wrong only perceptions. Appreciate the comments so far. If anyone thinks we have got this marketing message badly wrong - please shout. As always you lot are always the best crew to give your different opinions and I will think about what you write.

At least if we delete her then she will live forever on youtube and this post. (that was a joke)

What she's supposed to be doing is adding a 3D message of visuals and speech therefore saving you having to read and digest half the site.

I think she was excellent - clear, precise and informative - but unlike your point of sale/exhibition style promotion didn't attract the eye! (in other words had too many clothes on)
However that way of getting your message across (young attractive girls ) can distract from the product -which are still in use today from last Septembers JOTM - and so a happy medium needs to be found.IMO.
I prefer the demonstration of the drills being used with all the information in the voice over - and as it takes under 2mins to drill through a Villroy & Boch 600x600mm x12mm thick porcelain with your 365drills - that is the way I see a demonstration.

She did another one where she wasn't holding the drill pack.

Which means you have to have the product image next to her like above.

I think she does a better presentation job in Vid2 (the one above) BUT
without holding the product I think it loses its impact.

Yes she kept all her clothes on (there isn't a third video where she takes em off !!!)

The promotions girls are great fun at the roadshows but I couldn't face having one on front of site in this format. (Or am I just a coward...)

this is a much better way of putting your ad's over IMO more professional,
the ones with the totty i found a bit benny hill and insulting to women in a way
so good luck with the new sit, i might buy some now!!

Richard - I was 100% sure that my quote would be taken out of context - and it was!
The recent post of the 'legal secretary' and her clasped hands will not inspire the purchase of unseen tools. IMHO.
Its demonstrations for me.

Yes actually seeing the product being used and in action is a powerful marketing message and I think that if we do more in future then we will do it with working demos.

If you are going with the demo format you do have the backing music option along with text info that people if interested can pause and read. It would be much more dynamic. I still don't see the all important (pack shot.) The brand.
