Quote in for a false wall in wet room where I'm told a Homelux waterproof membrane has been applied over 25mm marine ply.

He has had the floor done and does not want tanking or over boarding on the wall.

Advice welcome.

I am not familiar with the homelux product isnt it a a tanking system ?

Not familiar either. Done some research since and understand it went on using a spf. Is it good to prime and tile straight onto?. Would of preferred to overboard with hardie. Due out tomorrow, just wanted to be armed with some info. Cheers chaps

Homelux is just like wallpaper. It's fixed to the background surface with adhesive and a 4mm trowel. You can tile straight onto it - no priming necessary. Sounds like it was a ply wall as it's a false wall.
