Mechanic and then gardening for 5 years....... starting my tiling course on Monday...... can't wait to do something that means I won't get p*ss wet through and freezing cold every winter! 😡

I went to school with a lad who told everyone, including the teachers, that he was going to be a pimp when he left school. No kidding!

well guys , don't take this the wrong way but i find it a little bit alarming that most of the replies don't say .....School, then got an apprenticeship as a tiler!!!

Been in the trade since i left shcool (at 14!!)

Left the trade in my mid 20's to join art school where i studied new media / graphic design.

came back to the trade , but i found my learning of visual layout & design very applicable within the tiling trade!!
