So after all that Kev, you actually agree with me that a full days rate was wrong ? :mad2:
I thought a half days rate was spot on for that job.
I apologise for the confrontation Kev, tho it may have looked like it, my aim wasn't to give tilers like yourself a hard time
Out of interest, isn't that kind of cost taken out of the VAT you pay if registered?
when you go into a fuel station and see the price of your "gas" or fuel as we call it, dont you think to yourself "im being robbed" ? i know i do !!
say i phoned you and said "hi Alberta, i have a completely flat wall that is 2 metres long by 2 metres high and i want 330mmx250mm tiles put up (48 tiles), how much would you charge?", I would then get a quote for $250 ?!! so if it took you an hour to put them up (most tilers could do this easily in an hour) you then theoretically could have done 8 hours of work and your labour is worth $2000 ?!!!
lets not go over this subject again about what you should and shouldn't charge, the bottom line is that you're a con artist
