MICK the Tiler

For me It would be my 1969 XT Ford Falcon Fairmont.

I actually had 2 of the same model 1 a six cylinder the other with a fully worked 351ci V8 stroked out to 383ci that was my Drag car.

The six cylinder was my favourite for Cruisin though It had the best sound system money could buy at the time, won many awards

i think i loved it more because she hated it,and all the boy racers:ban: thought it was the 1.4 range before watching the spoiler disappear into the horizon!

ooh..definitely my Toyota Starlet.

It was little 5 door hatchback I had sprayed shiny black adn someone gave me a little 'turbo' sticker to go on the back. It started without fail in all weathers, engine just purring along, had it for years and years but the body work deteriorated so much eventually I had to give it a burial service. It took me around England and Europe serveral times, with my little boy in tow, telling each other on the spot made up Rupert Bear stories. Lovely memories....

loads of cars over the years from allegro`s to sporty mini clubman to present day stuff, but the best for practiallity and performance was our 55 plate zafira GSI turbo had a full hand made stainless exhaust, dump valve etc etc.which we sold in early 2007,it was great for chucking everything and everybody in,and great fun for when your sat at traffic lights when you get the boyracers in their highly modded 1.1 festa`s or the 1.4 saxo`s sat next to you with music blasting out and revving the nuts out of the engine wanting to race anybody and everybody. not that i`m condoning that sort of thing but it must be a proper kick in the teeth when a family 7 seater has just left them for dead :lol::lol:
