When to put up the Xmas tree?

Yeah I agree, its for the kids but thats the limit for me, if you dont want to be controlled by whoever is pulling the strings then dont join in.

We didn't have one last year, actually, we opted out of Christmas all together and it was great, we had a mellow time off instead and just said no to it all, as long as there are children involved it's so different... anyhow, this year I'm feeling a bit confused, a bit Christmassy and a bit not... the trouble is I don't really believe the Christmas story, and I know the date is all wrong anyhow, real basis or not, the Catholic church changed it to fit in with pagan festivals and get support through that, bladibla, someone said they would neither want to kill a tree nor add to the plastic rubbish with an artificial one, UI wold have to agree with that, too, and ... bladibla again, yes, still confused as yet.... :lol:
