Time for a new phone ,I am looking at the i phone 4 ,the nokia n8 , the samsung galaxy s and the htc desire hd ,any one got any of these phones and which one you recommend and why?

gary,
i uprgraded in july and got the sony experia x10. i wanted a good camera but to be honest, i wish id waited and got the blackberry torch..the reason is, i hate texting using the touch screen. i am getting used to it but not a fan...not a fan of texting either tbo...just want to to say what ive gotta say and put the bleedin thing back in my pocket lol...

I've got the iPhone 4 Gary. Haven't used the others so I can't provide a fair comparison.

I'm a MAC user so the iPhone was the natural choice for me. I find it easy to use, it has an excellent HD screen, pretty good camera, good sound output and as it is considered to be the leading smartphone the majority of apps are designed with it in mind.

I'm well chuffed with my phone :lol:

Same as captainslow, iPhone 4. It is the best smartphone on the market, and will be for some considerable time. I'm a bit of a gadget freak, and of there were a better phone on the Market, I would have it.

I'm using mine just now to post to this thread. Get one, you won't be disappointed. I could go on for hours about mac products, but it's a bit late, so maybe another thread.

I've noticed you use tapatalk to reply to threads. Has Dan made other members aware what tapatalk is? I only found out over the weekend. Worth an anouncement to gererate easyer acess to tilersforums.

Just changed to the x10 - great camera (shows all the lippage and bad joints - and that's just on the customers face when they get an invoice!)
Too much phaff to switch it on and get in with arrows up the screen etc - no good if you've got dirty hands.
Still with Vodaphone and package cheaper with free internet, 1200 mins and 600 txts.
Works well as its bringing in lots of calls:hurray:

I have looked at them all Gary, i'm due a new one myself.
N8, HTC desire, blackberry torch, iphone4 etc.
I'm going for the iphone4, could have took one today only i need to save all my contacts to my pc some way first( 452 of them).
I'v been advised to save them to itunes?
It's the best i'v had in my hands for sure and not as big as some out there.
o2 business is the way to go,great deals. £35 a month i'm going for and they're giving me £115 for my phone so all i have to give them is 25 quid... !
