white or ivory Silicon?

I was asked to use coloured Silicon in this job but i would have preferred white. This is Beige though so its darker than Jasmine, with Jasmine i think it may have looked better.

still looks good but will take the advice of using white round the pottery etc and the colour just down the corner joint in the shower and may use the colour round the floor edge.. someone said about mixing some grout into clear sealant! how would you apply this??

cream, ivory silicon on tiles and white along the bath:

look good with the white its just the corner of the shower that will be like a big stripe and really noticable.

On the flip side... If the grout was darker, say chocolate or 80s red then white caulking would have worked better.

Remember red grout? lol :ban:
yes!!!!!!!!!! i had red grout with grey tiles in my kitchen in 1983,i thought it looked ace! wouldnt dream of it now, neutrals all round for me.

If I'am using a Silicon joint in the corner of a wall for expansion I'd be choosing a colour that matched the tiles not the joints! I would want the black tiles to follow round the corner (as an extreme example) with a black Silicon rather than have a white joint running 8feet up the wall!
If I'am sealing a white bath - I'd use a white Silicon.

thanks john, our tiles are a natural stone effect so theres a few difrent natural tones in there, you have got me thinking now!!

Mapei make a range of coloured silicones and for natural stone colours 130 Jasmine/132 beige work well.
