windows vista

hi all. anyone a computer whizz and know if you can recover either the files, most importantly, or the whole user account once its been deleted from vista? All my accounts for past 2 years, photos, music, business logos etc etc. Not a happy bunny.

I'm no computer whizz but you can get data recovery. down here it's very expensive and time consuming process and can take a couple of weeks to exract most of the lost data. Happened to me about a year or so back and had a good mate do the recovery for me at no charge.

NEVER EVER TRUST BILL GATES WITH YOUR PRECIOUS FILES!!!!!!

ALWAYS BACK UP ONCE A WEEK.

I'll be switch over to a mac when my contract runs out. Much more stable.

Never used vista but you might find that although the User Account has been deleted, the files will still be there somewhere on your hard drive.

Have a nose through Windows explorer or, if you know the name of a missing file, do a search for it.

Got rid of vista went back to windows 2000, nothing was compatable
