Work Boots

[On one]

Is there anyone else out there that has problems finding boots that will last a full 12 months? I've had Dewalts,Dickies etc,etc and not cheap one's either.Either the laces fall apart,eyelets drop out or the boots fall apart at the toe joint.Its not as if I go kicking about in trenches,its all domestics.
Just bought another pair that a few years ago would have been a weeks wages!!

Guess you guys don't care about PPE? Dickies Epsom for me. I get about 12 months out mine & i cover all trades. I buy seperate laces that come with a 2 year warranty. Cement based addy just eats through laces

Bought 6 pairs of nice light work boots from dickies in street, on sale £5.00 a pair. Still on first pair , almost a year now still going. strong

I've had a pair of Timberland Pro boots for over 10 years. No matter what I do I can't kill the things!

These ones but in brown:-

Trainers for me, just find them more comfortable.

I wear trainers and take care not to drop anything on my feet. I'd have thighs like tree trunks and would be walking like John wayne if i wore steel toed boots. The amounts of trips i do up and down stairs all day. Trainers keeps a spring in my step.

I have two pairs for work. Both pairs i've had for at least 3 years.

I usually relegate my good trainers to work ones once they start looking a bit tired, I'm wearing some CAT slip ons at the mo, nearly had a year out of them.
