when i was 16 you were either an AP50 or fizzy rider.

First car Triumph Herald (1959 was 26 years old), 2nd car 1966 MG midget and still got it 25 years later

mine was a mini, i worked in a garage so me and the lads sooped it up, wide wheels and a 1300 engine and loads of spots. i remember the reg too, mep 208k. i had my one and only bike before that a fizzy, fs1e. after that i got a viva with a fur dashboard :lol::lol:

Hi Mike, no my sunbeam wasn't a lotus!Wish she had been though, lol.They're as rare as hens teeth now, I know a guy who sold his mint lotus sunbeam last year. He got over 6k for it.My 1.6TI was White with a thick blue band up the sides.Very quick machine but didn't like jumping, lol.

first car was a split screen morris minor traveller bought as mot failed on front wheelbearing for £12.50, repaired it and sold on for £25, my wheeler dealer days had started

first car after passing my test was a ford zodiac, quickly sold at profit and replaced by no end of cortinas , escorts etc

my first commercial was a minor pick up

my first bike was a lambretta 200 jet, sold on at profit to be replaced by a 50cc james til I was 17 , then a brand spankers yamaha rd 250. those were the days{ old boy reminising} before restrictions. I bought and sold no end of bikes at that time, british, jap and italian

at 19 I bought a 59 bsa shooting star which is now in bits undergoing a resto

A Ford Anglia 105E (that was the speedier one, honest). And of course customised by me:
- hand painted (by me using paint pads would you believe:hurray in claret and white.
- Paddy Hopkirk (racing) door mirror. rrr:
- Motorola car cassette player with 3W per channel stereo speakers - thrown on the rear parcel shelf. :drool5:
- Hand stitched (I kid you not) black and red leather steering wheel cover.
- Paddy Hopkirk professional drivers seat cover (professional because it was a cloth cover and not plastic). :smilewinkgrin:
- And the ultimate sporting upgrade, Cross Ply tyres replacing the re-treads :lol::lol::lol::lol:
