Hi all, new member posting my first thread, has anyone out there had the problem of Zamora floor tiles cracking in different areas even though they have been laid on a flexible adhesive c/w flexible grout?
will be interested in your comments, regards cjd840

Hi & welcome.
I've fixed these to timber floors, screeded floors and overboarded walls, with absolutely no issues.

What substrate do you have? What adhesive did you use? And what fixing method did you use?

Fitted lots of these over many substrates.
Not had a problem.

tiles are laid on sealed v313 flooring on 150mm x 50mm joists on sleeper walls at 1200mm sleeper walls, prior to laying i confirmed with topps tiles and under floor heating company that this would be a stable platform to lay tiles as i was aware of the problems associated with laying on this surface, over laying with ply sheets was not possible due to the ht of 2 sets of french doors.

How were they fixed and using what materials?
I've fixed loads of Zamora with zero problems. They are a decent grade porcelain so not weak.
I suspect your floor. Sorry to say Topps staff have generally NO idea what is and is not a good floor. They sell tiles plain and simple.
Fixing to any chipboard assuming little or no deflection, I would always use an S2 adhesive if overboarding is not an option.
