Evening all,

Just after a sense-check before I commit & send the quote.

I’ve been asked to run in an SWA to feed a small CU that’ll sit inside an extension on the side of the house for the ASHP from a Tesla Gateway.

The customer has said the heat pump guys have asked for 2x 16A & 1x 6A circuits for the heat pump, immersion & control gear.

My plan was to fit a 40A C Curve MCB in the Tesla Gateway, run in the 10mm...

I've recently looked at a fault with an intermittently tripping RCD at a property for a landlord I do the odd job for.
Got there and did the basics, IR'd the cables, looked at resistances across the pump, got acceptable results everywhere I looked. Played with the heating, demanded hot water and central heating to try and recreate the fault. Absolutely nothing. Apparently...

Hi, I've been asked to replace some 2 gang sockets for a person who is disbled and has lost their strength in their hands and would like sockets with easy to press switches. Can anyone recommend a make that is suitable. I've searched for Part M switches but they seem to be just grey sockets for the poor sighted with outboard switches.

Hi everyone
I installed a BFT bollard about 3 years ago. It's been a very reliable piece of equipment however today it has started to trip the rcd when ever it returns to its extended position.
It allows me to switch the rcd back on, it won't trip until the bollard is activated goes down...
