Mains Water Closet direct Flush valves still a rarity in UK? Discussion Thread

Just was at a caravan site in Lake District recently, which had some very interesting Delabie electronic tap and shower fittings, also direct WC flush valves which worked extremely well.
Always wondered why these valves didn’t seem to catch on in UK when very many other countries never use cisterns.
A quick look in the Delabie specs sheet reveals their valves require a 20mm bore feed capable of around a...

Hi all fitting new radiators and need to connect to 8mm micro bore copper pipe under floorboards, (full rework of pipes not an option) would 15mm plastic pipe be okay or just go up to 10mm plastic pipe ? Also best way to connect , compression or push fit ? Using inserts off course , additionally if I drained system down through current radiator valves would there still be a lot of residual water ,combi boiler...

One of my client has a detached garage with access to electricity and cold water. The plan is to convert it to a granny studio.
What's the best way to:
1- get hot water to install a sink/tap and a shower
2- install the waste water drainage

A few years ago I got scammed, guy said he'd fit a mistral condensing boiler and change the jets for it run run the french standard diesel house fuel.
Well I got the boiler off of him after a struggle, but he never did the job, he ran off with the rest of the cash, a few k.
