What a shame. I thought it was a fabo idea......mind I had chilli for tea......

not a bad idea and it must have been edited so didn't explain fully but one question I have is if it connects to the soil stack then you are venting the stack straight into the room 😕

also the toilets they had on display were choosen because they could be fitted to them, most modern floor standing WC have no where near that amount of space behind them to fit such a gadget

A shame, i think it might have legs but might need some work

Did you all see that power8 toolbox that has been mentioned on here before, again a nice product but again has problems, the tools aren't good enough for a pro (did you hear how gutless they where?) and also too high a price for the DIY market

Did you see the Fein copy?

I've invented a device to help improve your ejaculatory distance.

I took it on Dragon's Den but it went right over their heads.

I went on Dragons' Den to propose my idea of a new type of artificial football turf, but I didn't get any investment because the pitch wasn't good enough.

Wonder if the idea of supporting an idea that is full of poo frightened off the dragons?

Cant help but feel that as a marketing ploy - getting yourself rejected on Dragons Den is a good way of getting other investors interested, and selling more of your product.

I suspect this idea is already guaranteed a market after this appearance. Good luck to him! :hurray:

You should be on the stage, mac............

............the next stage out of town :lol::lol:

Whatever the outcome in the Den, it is great marketing... about the toilet, refinements to the design can always be made to make it suitable overall, but they'll have to be quick because once and idea is out there it will be easy for richer companies develop this before you can say poo??? Thinking of air borne bacteria in hospitals.. this could be a sound idea...

I was suprised by the enthusiasm shown for the toolset, nobody tried the tools, nobody tried to break it... makes you wonder... :smart:

Thing is that on the face of it, its a good idea,

But cut out the entire commercial market, and your left with domestic.

Now again on the face of it still not a bad idea, when you consider, alot of new builds are three storey so like mine have three toilets and three extractors.

But the missus hit the nail on the head when she pointed out that with a toilet and basin this toilet extractor is all you need.

But.

My ground floor has a toilet and basin, so this would be fine.

My mid floor also has a bath and no windows like most three storeys, so it needs a ceiling / wall extrator anyay so the toilet one would be an extra not replacement.

My top floor has a shower and no window so again ceiling / wall extractor is needed, so again this would be an extra to a fan not a replacement.

So your already down to a third only.

Coupled with the fact that the builders will buy huge quantitys of the extractors, and will be getting them cheap anyway.

Your probably out of the new build market two, leaving the market as basically what they came up with, toilet under stairs, this must be a small, small market.

If only they had gone in with a more powerfull version, for the commercial purposes then it would have been a different ball game.
