There’s no way that you could put milk in your mug before brewing your tea. Black tea needs to be brewed at 100 degrees for 3-5 minutes to unleash its best flavours. If you pour milk in whilst brewing, you’re going to get a pretty lame cup of tea.

Tea needs really hot water to brew, straight off the boil.

Got to be milk second as you don't know how strong the tea is going to be and how much, or little, milk you'll need to add.

Tea bags, 2 sugars , milk, boiling water or you can't tell how strong your tea will end up......
You might hook the tea bags out add the milk and discover your tea's as weak as a plumbers quotation .....
Then what.....
Tea bags in the bin, it was the last one, and you end up drinking a cup of boiling water !!
Which is why it should always be milk first....🙂
