Wagos In Aus?
To my fellow Australian or Kiwi Sparks is there any stipulation on using Wagos rather than BP’s in the AS/NZ 3000? Can’t seem to find anything and they’re starting to sell them here.

whats your favourite trowel for getting good coverage on porcelain tiles say 300x300 - 650x450?
I've been using a 15mmx15mm (I think) square notch for some time but I think it could be better.

All,
Until further notice we are putting a hold on JOTM. This is a temporary glitch and it will return as soon as the issues are ironed out.
Weirdly, 4 winners were picked for the January JOTM as there were no votes and this appears to have been a software issue, not through lack of interest...

Anyone done this before. I'm thinking of having a go with some old reclaimed timber I have. Mostly railway sleeper and Victorian lintel (possibly pine) type timber. Cutting it into 20mm sections then sticking it down to screed using a flexible adhesive. Sanding hardening and staining it. How...

im fitting 300x600 tiles that are 9mm thick.
i read on here that i should use a 10mm round trowel for that size tile and that it will squash down to 6mm.
I assumed that would mean id need 15mm trim but someone at topps tiles said otherwise.
can anyone advise what i need to do/buy?
thanks
Hello,
We are just about to move house and after a recent short holiday to Malaga and a visit to the Alhambra in Granada, I am looking to bring a bit of that style to our new house. After looking on the internet for UK suppliers of Spanish style tiles, I was thinking that I could save money and...
As some of you may have seen, from a previous thread, at the moment I am in the process of tiling my downstairs. I have been using some CAD software to look at potential setting out ideas. Coming up with an idea that satisfies a few criteria, however I may be going about it all wrong.
At the...

Hi everyone,

Good Morning,
I have a question for the community, if your local tile shop was to offer a 0% APR deal when purchasing your tiles would you make use of it? also could it sway your decision into choosing the tile your really want and not the one you can afford?
The reason i ask is that more...
Tiling a bathroom in a couple of weeks the plasterers have been in and plastered it with a mix of bonding and finish plaster all mixed together and slapped on the wall. This is what they told the customer they used as I specifically told her to tell them not to use just bonding.
Is this common...
Hi all,
I was wondering if anybody has done this or if they have any advice about doing so?
I'm not even sure that it's a good idea or not.
But, presumably if plenty of screws were put in and there was little movement then it should be achievable.
Hi guys,
I've just seen a nice bathroom recently tiled and the bath is really quite wide, but I guess thats the way modern baths may be going...anyway, I started to thin, how do you tile the wall above a bath...I was told on a course to stand on a a frame platform but what if the bath is quite...
Hello,
I am looking for a bit of advice regarding patches of loose concrete substrate on a floor I am looking to tile. I have included some pictures to show the general state of the substrate whilst also showing particular areas of concern.
I have recently lifted the downstairs laminate...
Hi all!
After my tiles all dried out, I have set about starting my bathroom. Here is a pic!
Have no reached the ceiling and doing long (30cm) cuts. Using a scoring tile cutter that supposedly goes up to 30cm, it just keeps smashing the tiles when I try to snap them. Is it just rubbish? Would a...

Hi
Has anyone used this? I took delivery of this yesterday from protiler. I was expecting the straps to have a flat base like they have in the promo video but they are curved. The curve is approx 10mm which I think is going to cause me problems. I just don't see how I can insert them on tiles...
