Hi guys,
Is there a technique other than a steady hand to getting straight long cuts using a grinder. Also mitres I've seen a set up of a 45deg angle block and cut freehand but only on small cuts.
Trying to make a decision on whether to upgrade to a cordless grinder and batteries or to spend...
After setting out the shower tray lines for envelope cuts do people use the grinder to cut the diagonals so they have a grout joint or just use the tile cutter and have a real thin grout joint (Possibly too thin) so the bond still runs through from outside the former??

I'm fixing about 90 metres of 10mm 800x800 porcelain tiles at the moment, using a Rubi Tx 1200 cutter.
As per usual with large format porcelain, getting clean consistent cuts is very hit and miss.
Decided to change my normal 22mm wheel for a bearinged version to see if that made any difference...
