Hi all
I need some advice on cutting some “wooden plank” look porcelain tiles. I’ve previously cut up to 1.8m tiles (flooring) with an angle grinder but the edge finish wasn’t important as would eventually be hidden by the skirting. I’m in the process of tiling a bathroom in landscape format...
hi All, I have just started tiling a kitchen with the bevelled 200 x 100mm tiles. I have no real issues laying the tiles, however cutting the tiles to fit around and between switches and sockets is proving a pain in the rear.
Does anyone have any tips on cutting the fine strips of tile, my wet...
Hi - need some advice. Got a tiler doing a bathroom job for me which includes alcoves/niches. I've purchased and supplied the tiles myself which are from the Verona Stone group, but in my opinion a lot of the cutting work seems poor. Hopefully you can see from trt photo, but a lot of the cuts...
Thanks for the advice so far.
I have to cut a U shape piece that will slot around a stud wall at the end of the shower tray.

Any advice would be much appreciated:)
Has anyone any experience of these blades?

Hi all .
Just a quick question .
When doing a wet room floor with a formed shower tray which requires “envelope “ cutting where does one start first.
Do you start on the rest of the floor then move to the shower tray or do you start on the tray them move on to the rest of the floor.
What's the best method of cutting these tiles?

Hi guys
Wondering if anyone can help. Recently done a blade change on my wet cutter and now half way through the cut it goes of by about 3mm. Starts of fine then seems to go off. I had a dna blade in before and recently changed to a rubi. Has anyone had a issue like this before?
Cheers
Ollie.
I bought some of wickes urban grey ceramic floor tiles with a view to laying them this week. However, I needed to make a few cuts using the hand tile saw, which I have used many times with ease. Will the saw make a dent in these tiles...No...It defo says they are ceramic, but I'm totally baffled...
