Hi all,
Can I mount Marmox board onto plasterboard, and what method would you advise? I could remove platerboard and mount onto stud but I know the studs aren't suitably spaced meaning adding more timber (every 300mm)
I did this yesterday on a smaller wall after some good advice off this...

Hi
Just after some advice, have got some of the large size 12.5mm Marmox boards to fit in cloakroom. Have hacked off old plaster and am back to brick work which isnt bad in terms of being level but dips in and out in places by few mm as they tend to. Am I better of using something like an 8 /...

I am at a loss with this one. How can I fit a 755mm bath in a 780mm space? Walls are brick. I read somewhere that you could 'pack out' the wall with rapidset. If the bath is placed in the middle that would be 12.5mm of packing out on either side. Alternatively 25mm on one wall. Surely there's a...
I apologise if this has been covered in a previous thread.

I am current tiling a chimney breast in limestone and wish to fit a 100mm x 20mm x 1200mm long limestone slip onto the wall tiles at ceiling level and am concerned that the adhesive on its own would not support the weight of the slip. Any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Afternoon all,
As I have been let down on a 2 week job the lovely wife suggested I get on and refit the ensuite, a job that was in the pipeline that I had managed to put off.
All has been stripped back to plaster on 3 walls and plasterboard replaced with Hardie.
This ensuite is in an extension...

We're nearly a 1/3 of the way through the year, what tiles have you fitted the most? Mostly ceramic for me, a bit of slate, only one travertine floor and my first gulf stone job.
just wondering how long it takes everyone to fit. trying to workout a price for fitting 40m2 in a fairly square room. How long would you guys guess it would take to fit?

Hi all,
Apologies if this has been discussed previously, but does anyone have any experience of using a TrayMate fitting kit for a shower tray?
Couple of things I'd like to ask after reading a lot about them:
1. Are they actually easy to install, good value and secure?
2. Looking at the...
