    What have you been fitting?

We're nearly a 1/3 of the way through the year, what tiles have you fitted the most? Mostly ceramic for me, a bit of slate, only one travertine floor and my first gulf stone job.

Fitting a Tilux former - good tip that worked for me

Leave about 15 to 20mm clearence around the former when bedding down. This enables you to twist/move the former slightly to help bed it in. Having it tight to the wall/screed rather limits your options. This gap can be backfilled with adhesive or screed.
