Hi,
I'm not sure this is the right area for this post but hopefully someone can give me good advice. I have been recommended to use a Marmox type waterproof cementatious backer board to build up to the required height (20mm) of my concrete floor in the living room. My final floor surface is...

hi all.....
just want to confirm my research.....cost aside, is it true to say that the advantage of MARMOX backer board over hardibacker is that Marmox is both waterproof AND insulating whereas hardibacker is just waterproof?

- UFH cable
- Tiles
Question is for installation of the Marmox onto the ply. Would you use tiling adhesive (Granfix flexible rapidset 3mm...

Hiya,
I've had some Marmox 20mm insulation boards laid down on my conservatory floor today using Bal PTB Flexible adhesive, as I'm planning on installing some under tile heating also.
The boards were laid down by a guy who does tiling, so I left it in his hands, however on checking the boards...
