    swimming pool to tile

    hi everybody, i have been tiling for about ten years now and have never been asked to tile a swimming pool until now, i know that with the right advice i am more than able to do it, if anybody could give me any advice from begining to end then it would be greatly appreciated? many thanks

    swimming pool in cirencester

    well i tiled walls and steps ,BUT the floor screed was hollow all over and cracked and needed replacing the pool builders on me pointing this out to them said " DON'T WORRY THE WAIGHT OF THE WATER WILL HOLD IT DOWN :yikes: merchant bankers :mad2::mad2: so i walked away :thumbsup:

    swimming pool

    hi guys Been tiling and plastering for over 35yrs, just been asked to do a swimming pool. I rendered it out some 3 months ago now ready to tile it with mosaics. Any advice regarding what primer to use and which adhesive and grout are the best would be much appreciated Thanks

    help levelling -up swimming pool floor

    any suggestions for what i could use to level the floor of a swimming pool that has been insulated with metal panels that have been tanked with a spray-on tanking system epoxy ,with the last coat containing sand as a mechanical key for the tile adhesive , ordinary SLC is no good as it will not...

    here is a pool we pacelighted

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIF5OIdm0V4 this pool was turned from an old pool to a natural pool ,the coping stones were Jerusalem stone, :thumbsup: we trowel this on to SBR/cement slurry then water polish with diamond discs to a fine smooth finish you can get this in about 6 different colours

    here is a swimming pool job

    we renovated this pool in Bournemouth a few months ago , we hacked -off the tiles then skimmed the solid render with adhesive then re-tiled with,the selected 6x6 tiles,the floor was anti-slip all over then grouted and re-newed the expansion joints, and also added some new ones to keep the pool...

    I do remedial work at a local gym when they have cracked tiles,regrouting and so on whenever needed and the owner says that a few mosaics have come out at the bottom of the pool. He tells me it will take weeks to drain and put all the water back so thats not an option but he needs them doing in...
