Tiling a swimming pool with Marble
Hi guys, Virgin post!!! I've been asked to tile an indoor swimming pool in honed matt marble. Is there anyone out there that's ever tiled a pool in marble? if so any advice would be appreciated. I'm guessing it's doable but tanking firstly and then natural stone sealants need to be tip-top...- macca71

Tiled swimming pool
This is a pool in cardiff just finished by me, rendered /screeded in ordinary sand and cement 3-1 mix with a sika integral waterproofer , it took ages longer than i usually take as it was an outdoor pool, and the guy was incapable of covering it -up ,so we were at the mercy of the wheather...- Diamond Pool Finishers

swimming pool in cirencester
well i tiled walls and steps ,BUT the floor screed was hollow all over and cracked and needed replacing the pool builders on me pointing this out to them said " DON'T WORRY THE WAIGHT OF THE WATER WILL HOLD IT DOWN :yikes: merchant bankers :mad2::mad2: so i walked away :thumbsup:- Diamond Pool Finishers

here is a pool we pacelighted
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIF5OIdm0V4 this pool was turned from an old pool to a natural pool ,the coping stones were Jerusalem stone, :thumbsup: we trowel this on to SBR/cement slurry then water polish with diamond discs to a fine smooth finish you can get this in about 6 different colours- Diamond Pool Finishers

here is a swimming pool job
we renovated this pool in Bournemouth a few months ago , we hacked -off the tiles then skimmed the solid render with adhesive then re-tiled with,the selected 6x6 tiles,the floor was anti-slip all over then grouted and re-newed the expansion joints, and also added some new ones to keep the pool...- Diamond Pool Finishers

Having seen a thread about re-tiling a swimming pool it made me wonder (as I have in the past) how exactly swimming pools are tanked.
