Did a repair job this week, just a couple of tiles to replace. What surprised me was how the edges of the tiles (unsealed but top surface was sealed) sucked the moisture out of the grout. (mapei ultra colour) saw surface cracks appear straight away. Just told told the customer I would check on...

Do you think I have got this right or completely wrong? Could any pro's offer some advice to improve the layout?
Any ideas with...

hi- new member here-
We are dealing with a vast expanse of installed kiln-dried terracotta tiles, which are not laid evenly enough, and we wish to take off the high points and smooth the surface. Can someone recommend a method? Would a wet- polisher work? What type of disks could be used? Thanks!

Hi
Got a small terracotta floor coming up, the tiles are 25mm thick. I was wondering wouldnt it be possible to cut them with a jigsaw? Has anyone ever done that?
It'd cause less dust and be quicker than using a manual saw.
cheers
